One colleague just brought to the office his new iPhone4S. I've already talked several times about the value of mobility in my blog for Social, Real-time collaboration.
We have tested the new Polycom Realpresence Mobile for iPhone 4S.

But, nothing is better to test it !!!! That's awesome !!

Polycom RealPresence Mobile Version 1.1 Enhancements

On Monday, Feb. 27, Polycom is releasing Polycom RealPresence Mobile 1.1, the latest version of our enterprise-class video solution for tablets and smartphones.

Launched in October, Polycom RealPresence Mobile extends enterprise video beyond the traditional boundaries of the conference room to leading mobile devices. With Polycom RealPresence Mobile, users can enjoy HD video collaboration to connect and collaborate face-to-face with colleagues, partners, customers, students, patients—in short, anyone, anywhere.

Powered by the Polycom RealPresence Platform, RealPresence Mobile enables customers to leverage their existing investments for mobile deployments.

Monday’s version 1.1 release will add:

Polycom RealPresence Mobile has been named a “Best New Product” award

Polycom RealPresence Mobile has been named a “Best New Product” award winner in the 2012 Edison Awards in the Media/Visual Communication: Business/Communications category. The level of award—gold, silver, or bronze—will be unveiled at an awards gala to be held April 26 in New York City.

Now in its 25th year, the Edison Awards honors innovation and innovators across an array of categories. Building on the heritage of American inventor and businessman Thomas Edison, the awards program evaluates all nominated products based on concept, value, delivery, and impact.

This year’s award finalists were chosen by a steering committee and 3,000+ professionals from the fields of product development, design, engineering, science, marketing, and education. Polycom’s entry is in good company, with award submissions from IBM, Apple, Logitech, Amazon, VIZIO, YouTube, and more.
